OK so I filled out a form to get quotes for health insurance on line?
I got quote from like 10 diffrent companies. Anyway the following day I got 3 calls from said companies to give me quotes wich I already recived online that same day I lost my phone i don't have anything other than a cell phone so I was compleatly unable to talk to anyone. (this was monday BTW) I got a new phone today and I had a voice mail from everyday since monday from the same guy. Today's said that I OWED him the courtsy of calling him back and that he's sure I've been busy but that is no excuse to not return his call. Am I just being an ass here or is he being really rude especially since I only wanted quotes online? I relise this is how these people make there money but this man has now cost me almost a dollar in voice mails.

- Your experience can be taken as a positive or a negative. Negative: This salesperson is extremely annoying and would never do any business with such person. Positive: This is the sales person I want on my side. He seems to follow up, stay connected to me and will probably crusade the carrier if and when I have a problem. Personally, I would rather have a broker that takes good records of phone conversations, calls me back and understands the product he sells.
- To rely on any one particular sale is a sign of desperation. One follow-up call is understandable, especially if you requested contact, but several calls in the same week is a red flag. It is likely they are out for the sale, and nothing more. To retain a client for many years requires timely service and attention when requested. Hounding a potential customer shows the prospect that the commission is of most importance.
