I think it cuts me up pretty bad the more joyful folks I see who have led a goodly life of no fuss no bother just consistant loving kindness of gentle stoicism where absolutely NO woe is me exists? On the other hand when I see folks telling folks how much they love them allowing laziness apathy excuses and transfering blame to innocent bystanders even in the same workplace as incompetant I look more and more to absurdism the ideals of life is too short to waste time argueing with incompetant and maliciously spiteful persons wanting to hurt everyone they meet then lie decieve and deflect delay delude and deny? Whom have you met lately you grieve their loss non family friends aquaintences and did you handle it with peace only or nutrition too and to what effect did you learn what humble good they did as quiet achievers after they had gone rather than acknowledging and commending them for the good they do whilst they're here even if they did it for the common good in society or their religion or beliefs? Absurdism? What constitutes not being loving as a community relations officer with no charity, note cost examples excluded? Omittable no marks here just a bonus all else being equal TEN POINTS HOW AWESOME IS THAT? MARKED IN THE HOUR FOR QUICK POINTS!!!!!!!!!!

1. I would not feel better if someone else was miserable. Others as you mention may find comfort in the misery of another, but that is not how I was taught and raised. I am happy when the world is joyful, I cry when the world is sad. And yes... Although it is a generalization, it happens too often to be an exception... I agree with you about how the world only recognizes, celebrates and reflects upon a person's talents after they have passed away and not when they were alive to really appreciate those compliments. Maybe, it takes one person to change this. One person to do a random act of kindness, to tell another fellow human a nice compliment to start. Pay it forward.
