how will i relate my motivation to the student with this quotes?

help me to find effective motivation to this quotes " a classic is something that everybody wants to have read but nobody wants to read" and a motivation to teach literature so that my classmate will not be so bored..please help me with this

1. With the new generation of students nowadays influenced by the fast facing Armageddon of technology, it is really difficult to let students realize the wealth hidden in classical books. My suggestion is, arouse their imagination and their desire by presenting some of the thoughts in classical books that is very much related to their present life. You should allow to let the treasure hidden in classical books spark in the presence of the student so that it may catch their attention to discover more what they need to see.
2. talk about how they want to but don't. use it as motivation to do something instead of just talk or dream about it.. nothing will ever change if you don't do it..it will always stay the same...i want to but i haven't... spark their curiosity to see what every ones talking about..and read the book.. maybe reverse psychology in that tell them to read the book to criticize it as to why it is or isn't a classic..this should work for the ones who think reading is dumb but haven't read...challenge them to do it.. it should work good luck....
